CONSUL'S CORNER

LIVING OUR VALUES

Our mission is creating the leaders of tomorrow and our chapter's president (Consul) presides at the pinnacle of our management structure of officers and committees. More importantly, our Consul serves as the moral compass of our chapter and must lead our brothers in their journeys to grow as principled young men At Michigan State.
Many of our past consuls have become leaders in business, industry, government, and in their community. Here we capture stories from many of our past chapter Consuls.  They share their top memories, lessons learned, and how their Gamma Psi experience helped shaped their lives.
To read about a Consul's experience and lessons learned, click on 'either' the their respective read more box or image found on the right.

If you are a past Consul and would like to contribute, we welcome to share your top memories and lessons learned, to inspire future brothers.

Consul and Significant Sig Mark McDaniel, '77

"Men join fraternities. Leaders of men join Sigma Chi." While this terminology might not be as inclusive for purposes of today the point is Sigma Chi prepared leaders to lead a full range of all people.

“Personal Responsibility, the last two words of the Jordan Standard. We must agree that we are willing to live by the standards of our fraternity ideals. You and me and today’s Sigma Chi leadership everywhere are in this together."
